MOBILE DICTATION FOR BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONES

BigHand released the world’s first true enterprise digital dictation
workflow system for BlackBerry in 2007. After a successful early
adoption programme, BigHand has built on this innovation with the
latest and best in mobile dictation. BigHand for BlackBerry®
incorporates the feedback received from BigHand’s early adopter
partners, making the creation and submission of BlackBerry dictations
smoother, more reliable and more intuitive than ever before.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
BigHand for BlackBerry® is installed over-the-air onto the BlackBerry
smartphone. The user records, edits and submits dictations using this
intuitive application, which takes advantage of features like the
trackball, convenience buttons and touch screen. Dictations are
uploaded over the mobile data services channel via the BlackBerry
Internet Service or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The BlackBerry
Gateway component receives the BlackBerry dictations and submits them
to the BigHand3 server.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT?
If your organisation currently uses a dictation system then BigHand
for BlackBerry® enables your mobile users to send instruction and
dictation instantly into the office workflow - further enhancing
document turnaround times, remote productivity and client service.
Additionally your organisation will be able to cut down the number
of devices professionals carry and cut call costs if you currently
use telephony/cell phones for dictation.

If your organisation does not currently use a dictation system,
but utilises BlackBerry smartphones, then purchasing BigHand3
with BigHand for BlackBerry® licenses will provide your users with
a voice productivity tool that boosts remote efficiency and
expedites your document production process.

PROVEN SITES?
BigHand is a BlackBerry ISV Alliance Partner. Working in partnership
with RIM means our technology operates highly efficiently over the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service
architectures. BigHand for BlackBerry® smartphones is now being
utilized by 10,000 early adopter users – unmatched commercial
testing and usage when compared with competing products. BigHand's
BlackBerry dictation application offers many unique features, not
available with competing systems.

  • Create and Share Picture Albums on Picassa with bbCasa for BlackBerry
A long time ago, back in 2008, there was an official Picasa app for BlackBerry and it was very short lived. • Analyst Claims Torch Sales Had No Meaningful Impact on AT&T Revenue
A Pacific Crest analyst James Faucette claims that the BlackBerry Torch failed to make any significant impact on revenue between RIM and AT&T. In a research note he wrote: “We believe that the Torch has settled into a stable sell-through level while not meaningfully affecting BlackBerry’s overall revenue with AT&T despite rising average selling prices.”
